Notes:
According to the North Dakota DOT, the first map was issued in 1925. However, a 1924 has been verified to exist.
The camper shown on the 1990-91 map is on the left side of the road – either driving on the wrong side, or the photo is reversed.
Tourist Guide maps were also distributed in the 1920s-30s by the Greater North Dakota Association, using State Highway Department maps.
