VERMONT OFFICIAL MAPS
Notes:
Before and after 1960, maps were issued jointly by the Vermont Dept. of Highways and the Vermont Development Commission (Dept. of Development). In 1960, two separate maps were issued. Both are listed here, although the Development Commission map is more like a brochure than simply a state highway map.
Maps dated 1961-63, and 1967-69 have two covers which could be considered the front. Only one is described here.
A second, lesser-quality map was published by the Vermont Attractions Association starting in 1994. In 2004 this map became more substantial, while no maps titled “Official State Map” have been found past 2002, so it is likely that the Vermont Attractions Association map took over as the official state map for Vermont at that time. These are listed separately below the main listing.
